Designing homes around the way people live.

Leyla Kurshutova

I believe a home should adapt to the person, not the other way around. My work sits at the intersection of spatial strategy, interior architecture and everyday living. I design residential spaces that support the routines, habits and aspirations of the people who inhabit them. Rather than starting with a style, I begin with questions:

 — How do you live? — How do you work? — What makes your day easier? — What creates comfort, focus or calm?

The answers shape everything that follows — from layout and circulation to lighting, materials and atmosphere. Because a well-designed home is not simply beautiful. It quietly improves the quality of everyday life.

A home is more than a collection of rooms.

I see every home as a living system. The way people move through space, interact with light, store belongings, host friends, work remotely or spend quiet evenings alone all influence how a space should be designed.

For this reason, I pay particular attention to planning, functionality and the invisible decisions that shape daily experience. Beautiful materials matter. Atmosphere matters. But neither can compensate for a space that does not work. A thoughtful layout will improve life every day for years.

What Inspires My Work

My inspiration comes from architecture, museums, historic interiors, travel, craftsmanship and the subtle details that make places memorable.

I am drawn to spaces that age gracefully, reveal character over time and remain relevant beyond trends.

This perspective shapes my approach to design: creating interiors that feel timeless, personal and deeply connected to the lives of their owners.

Design Principles

Space should work for the person.
Every square metre should have a purpose.
Layout matters more than decoration.
Function and emotion are equally important.
Atmosphere is created through everyday rituals.
Good design reduces friction in daily life.
Homes should evolve gracefully over time.
Timelessness is more valuable than trends.
